Supporting green mines, Hanxing Energy's "Photovoltaic and Storage Integration" demonstration project has been implemented in Zhangzhuang Mine.
On December 23rd, the 5.12MW distributed photovoltaic power generation project of the second-phase backup tailings pond and the 10MW/40.12MWh supporting energy storage power station project of Anhui Magang Zhangzhuang Mining Co., Ltd., which were invested and constructed by Hanxing Energy, were successfully connected to the grid.By now, the 20MW photovoltaic power station of Zhangzhuang Mine (constructed in two phases) and the supporting energy storage power station have all been completed and put into operation. Among them, the second-phase photovoltaic and energy storage power station started construction in August and was connected to the grid in December, taking only five months, demonstrating a remarkable construction efficiency. This marks that Hanxing Energy has set a new benchmark in the field of integrated smart energy solutions for "photovoltaic storage" in mines. Project overview: The total investment of this project exceeds 110 million yuan, and it is the first comprehensive energy demonstration project tailored by Hanxing Energy for Zhangzhuang Mine, injecting strong impetus into the green transformation of traditional mining enterprises.The project is located in a new energy base of approximately 500 acres in the reserve tailings pond area of Zhangzhuang Mine. It cleverly utilizes idle and abandoned land in the mining area to lay photovoltaic arrays. The total installed capacity of the photovoltaic power station is 20MW, bringing green vitality to the previously barren land. The supporting energy storage power station has a capacity of 10MW/40.12MWh, with 2 energy storage units. It uses 8 high-efficiency liquid cooled battery compartments and 4 integrated converters and boosters for coordinated operation, ensuring stable and efficient system. According to calculations, after the project is fully operational, the photovoltaic power station can provide approximately 23.5 million kilowatt-hours of clean electricity annually, equivalent to saving 2,888 tons of standard coal, reducing 13,653 tons of carbon dioxide emissions, and saving about 5 million yuan in electricity fees for mining enterprises each year. The energy storage power station, through "peak shaving and valley filling", stores electricity during off-peak hours and discharges it during peak hours. It can achieve an optimized transfer and utilization of approximately 18 million kilowatt-hours of electricity annually, further saving mining enterprises 3 million yuan in electricity costs. The two systems operate in coordination, which not only increases the proportion of green electricity in the mining area but also enhances the grid's regulation capacity and energy utilization efficiency.
