"Feixi Speed" in one certificate

"Did you know? We almost settled in Feixi a few years ago." At the Anhui Hanxing Energy Headquarters Base, Building A5, Hefei Innovation and Technology Park, Feixi Economic Development Zone, Wang Yaqi "kept the secret" before the formal interview.

As a national high-tech enterprise and a specialized and new enterprise in Anhui Province, Anhui Hanxing Energy is a star enterprise in the domestic energy storage industry. The company specializes in product research and development and system construction of the entire electrochemical energy storage industry chain, charging pile research and development, production and sales, charging station construction and operation, battery replacement heavy truck station construction, energy storage core control system (BMS) research and development and sales, and comprehensive energy big data business.

"We have connected the grid to the Henghe Coal Mine in Shandong and put into operation the first smart mine security power supply project in China." Wang Yaqi introduced that the company is currently investing in the construction of large-scale shared energy storage power stations in Huoqiu, Anhui and Jinchang, Gansu, forming a research and development and production pattern of "one headquarters center and two production bases."

As one of the core members of the company's team, the company's executive president Li Wangjian revealed the story behind Wang Yaqi's "keeping a secret".

It turns out that around 2017, Anhui Hanxing Energy decided to enter the energy storage market and set its sights on a piece of industrial land in Feixi when preparing to build an industrial base. However, due to procedural issues, it had to "miss the opportunity".

"Although we built the production base outside the province, we still think Feixi is the best location for the headquarters base," Li Wangjian told Anhui Channel of People's Daily Online. As a result, Anhui Hanxing Energy Headquarters Base and Feixi Economic Development Zone will "join hands" at the end of 2023.

"Hefei is a famous city for science and education, and Feixi has convenient transportation. We are only 30 minutes away from the high-speed railway station and the airport by car." Li Wangjian explained that the objective considerations for them to "fall in love" with Feixi were to retain high-tech talents and to facilitate the connection with the national market. To the surprise of the company, in addition to objective factors, they also felt the sincere investment of Feixi County.

"For example, some time ago, we needed to apply for the second-level qualification certificate for general contracting of power engineering construction. This is related to the company's bidding business." Li Wangjian said that when they applied for it elsewhere before, "it took nearly a year and they still hadn't obtained it", but it took less than a month to get the certificate in Feixi.

In fact, Wang Yaqi’s emotion is a concrete manifestation of Feixi County’s “precision drip irrigation” service.

At the "First Meeting of the New Year" held at the beginning of this year, Feixi clearly proposed to implement the "Five Comparisons and Five Competitions" high-quality development action, one of which is to go all out to deepen the enterprise service action.

To this end, Feixi issued the "Feixi County Special Action Plan for Deepening Enterprise Services", proposing "Ten Actions" focusing on all aspects such as corporate office space, investment, market, talent, and financing, and striving to integrate the thoughts and concerns of enterprises into the local development plan.

"When applying for the title of Anhui Province's Specialized, Refined, Special and New 'Little Giant' Enterprise this year, the relevant departments of Feixi County arranged for someone to provide full guidance and coordinate our team to sort out the application materials."

People's Daily Anhui Channel noted that when talking about her feelings about landing in Hefei, Wang Yaqi always had endless "surprises" to talk about: "The person in charge of the talent department was afraid that we didn't understand Hefei's talent policies, so he came to our house to explain the relevant policies to us."

The details of work reflect the warmth of the government's service to enterprises. "Even when the party branch was awarded a plaque, the organization department came in person." Wang Yaqi said that the Feixi County Party Committee Organization Department also suggested "combining party building with corporate culture without formalism." This pragmatic style made them feel cordial and respected.

It is worth mentioning that although Wang Yaqi has not been in Feixi County for a long time, she can always accurately name the responsible persons and specific staff of the business service departments. "With more contact, we naturally become familiar with each other," said Wang Yaqi.

The "Feixi Depth" of Integration on a "Chain"

Proactively providing services and accurately matching needs have promoted industrial integration between Anhui Hanxing Energy and Feixi, becoming another practical case of Feixi County's efforts to optimize its business environment.

Previously, Feixi County established a special team for advanced photovoltaic and new energy storage industries with the County Bureau of Industry and Information Technology as the lead unit. "Last year, when we visited Hanxing Energy, we learned that it needed local supporting enterprises." Ni Fei, deputy director of the Feixi County Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, said that after visiting, they found that there were local upstream and downstream enterprises that were suitable. Finally, through the coordination of the special team, the two companies successfully achieved industrial chain cooperation.

It is worth mentioning that in order to further improve the service level, Ni Fei said that Feixi County will work with the County Industrial Investment Group to plan and build a "zero-carbon demonstration park", using the integrated photovoltaic storage and charging scenario as a pilot to promote the transformation of enterprises to green and low-carbon, and help Hanxing Energy's advanced energy storage technology to be transformed on-site in Feixi.

"Serving enterprises must achieve 'three in place'." In Ni Fei's dictionary of creating a good business environment, "three in place" is the core essence, including policy publicity and guidance, supply and demand research docking, and accurate problem solving. To this end, there should also be "two enthusiasms" - enthusiasm and passion for serving enterprises; "three skills" - be able to interpret policy documents, ask questions when looking for problems, and remember important information; "three diligences" - be diligent in thinking (thinking more), be diligent in feet (thinking more), and be diligent in speaking (understanding more).

"Now that we have joined hands with Feixi, we certainly hope to achieve great things here. If necessary in the future, we will definitely 'increase our investment' in Feixi." After feeling Feixi's full sincerity, Wang Yaqi also said that the "fate" between Anhui Hanxing Energy and Feixi has just begun.

After all, the story of one city and one company "running in both directions" has just begun!
